What to measure with what
Every health goal relies on its own metrics and device. That's how the Data Confidence Index (DCI) grows.
| Topic | Device | Key metrics | Contribution to DCI |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heart and HRV | Bracelet, Patch | RMSSD, SDNN, resting HR | +25% |
| Sleep | Ring, Bracelet | Sleep stages, SpO₂ | +20% |
| Stress | Bracelet, Ring | LF/HF, stress index | +15% |
| Sport | Chest strap, Bracelet | VO₂max, Recovery | +15% |
| Longevity | Bracelet, Ring | Bio-age, trends | +10% |
| Nutrition | App | Ferritin, vitamin D, TSH | +10% |
Questions about health
How do I check my heart health at home?
Regularly track your resting heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV). A steady rise in resting heart rate and a drop in HRV are reasons to ease off. The WITU bracelet records an ECG in 30 seconds, which is more accurate than optics — but it's not a substitute for a doctor.
Which device should I choose for my goal?
Sleep and background tracking — the ring. ECG and daily monitoring — the bracelet. Clinical monitoring — the patch. Sport and VO₂max — the chest strap. You can start for free with the app and any watch.
Can I improve my HRV?
Yes: quality sleep, stress management, aerobic exercise, and closing deficiencies (iron, vitamin D) usually raise HRV. It's important to look at your personal trend over 7–14 days, not a single day.
